Photosession at DUDO, Costya's Saloon.

What was planned to be a simple photosession outside on the streets, with just a camera, SB600 flash and a bouncer, ended up in something completely different.
Patrik, our friend that moved to Madrid, came to visit Moscow for a couple of days, and the days before we decided we wanted to have a photosession somehow.
But as things not always turned out as you have planned, we ended up at Patriks friend Costyas beautysaloon instead, and i brought all my lighting gear there.

It couldnt get better.
Costya is a very inspiring, yet relaxed and great guy that knows what he does, with alot of great ideas.
Very creative!
He cuts hair, he design clothes, shoes, jewelry and do make up etc.

And it didnt take much time until he started to style both Patrik and Martina.
And as he has designs clothes and shoes, there was great collection of different garments to choose from.
Dresses, furs, blouses, skirts, shirts...you name it!
A huge wardrobe...or should i say a corridor with clothes!!!
Martina was in ecstasy!

His saloon has a very personal style.
It is in a basement of a older brickhouse, and the enviorment is kind of vintage stylish, with old paintings, grungy brickwalls and vintage wallpapers, candelabras, wooden flooring, and antique furnitures.
Alot of stuff, but everything goes with everything.

As the plan from the beginning was not to have the session here, i didnt had much time to spend on brainstorming ideas.
But to be honest is was not so necessary, as this guys place just screams inspiration!
So we took it from there and the whole session became very spontaneus.
(Wich i do like)

We did take a lot of shots that night.
around 380 RAW files i have to go through this week.
Allready started as you can see with the portrait of Costya above.

Thanks alot Costya, Martina and Patrik for another great evening with alot of laughs, champagne, makeup, clothes and doo deli doo-music.
I really hope we will do this again.
