Dirty and decadent ; Potoshoot

Saturday 9th August, Barrikadnaya Building, Moscow.

Later on that Same saturday i had an idea to drag the strobes out in the mystique hallway of the Barrikadnaya building. But i had to be right outside Patriks appartment as i needed powersource nearby. (well, i had bought 30metres of cord, so i was well prepared and we could move around a little bit.)

Hallways in russia is actually quite interesting i think. In basiclly every building you enter the hallways are worn out, dirty, grungy, smells like shit and even in some theres been a fire sometimes and nobody cares to fix up the aftermath. In Barrikadnaya its not that bad but still quite dirty but in a kind of charming way. With this enviorment it was the perfect place for my photoideas i had past weeks. Dirty, decadent and to much to drink, but in the same way a slice of stylish...

So far i only postprocessed two pictures i was really satisfied with, from this shoot. A couple of weeks earlier me and Aida did a shoot in our guestroom that was suppose to be on the same theme, but at that time the ideas was not so very well rooted. Those pictures will maybe come up later.

*The Result*

What was most difficult with this shoot was to find a good angle to avoid getting the flashes reflection in the mirror and at the same time, to not to get the strobes in the picture. During the postprocessing i anyway had to clone away cords and beerbottles.. ;)
